Upgrade of existing forecourt & atrium with St George House. The proposal involves alterations & additions to existing ground floor main entryway, internal atrium foyer area & external forecourt area & additional cantilevred meeting rooms. The additions involve an increase in overall floor area of 203sq m. Alterations & additions to external forecourt area to comprise upgrade of forecourt material finishes, furniture & planting. External forecourt area on Montgomery St frontage to be upgraded to improve connectivity between the internal & external spaces & provide pedestrian amenity. Existing pavers to be removed & replaced with new stone paving. Existing planter box seating & trees to be removed & new planting & furniture installed. Pole top lighting to be installed throughout the space. Main entry facade & doors facing Montgomery St to be replaced including double height glazing & automated sliding doors. Alterations & additions to ground floor atrium foyer area, comprising 3 new meeting rooms to be constructed along the northern side of ground floor atrium foyer; new customer waiting area with seating & Wi-Fi access to be constructed in the centre of the foyer adjacent to liftwell area; new audiovisual presentation 'innovation gallery' will be located at the north-eastern end of the foyer; internal retail space for use by Westpac; relocation of existing cafe area & new benches, food heating equipment & coffee machine to be installed. 2 x additional meeting rooms cantilevered out over the foyer space below will be constructed on level 2; 1 x meeting room cantilevered out over the foyer below will be construction on level 4, these meeting rooms will be 15sq m each & will result in increase of GFA of 45sq m. Stone paving will be utilised throughout external forecourt & internal foyer flooring, timber flooring to central seating area, concrete flooring to the innovation gallery, internal glazing installed between central sating area & lift area, modern external glazing to main entryway.
