About This Project

Proposed design of the Heidelberg Central Shopping Precinct Streetscape between Burgundy Street, Rosanna Road & Mount Street, including access to the Heidelberg railway station. Banyule is looking to deliver an improved streetscape look & feel that prioritises pedestrian needs, improves existing public spaces & creates a more appealing & interesting precinct. Council will also be looking to create better connections between the main retail area, the medical precinct & the railway station. Another key priority is to reinforce the connection to the Heidelberg School art movement through the streetscape.
