According to CoreLogic preliminary auction results, the week ending 1st of June saw 21 properties go up for auction across Australia. The preliminary figures suggest a clearance rate of 52.4%, with 11 properties sold prior to, or at, auction.
The data collected so far by CoreLogic suggests that the cleared auctions were dominated by retail property types, with 4 retail sales.
This is a diversion from broader commercial market trends, however the number of auctions is likely too small to derive meaningful trends.
Perhaps most striking is that two successful sales were in Western Australia, including the top sale price for the week. Service station sales have also been popular commercial asset types over the past 12 months.
