The latest research from Burke Road Cityscope shows sales value remained stable in the quarter to August 2019. In this latest quarter, there were 3 sales at a total value of $7.4 million, compared to the 4 sales at a total value of $7.4 million in the previous quarter.

This quarter brings the 12-month total to $32 million of 16 sales, a decrease compared to the 19 sales at a total value of $85.5 million over the previous year.

Notable sales in the August 2019 update of Burke Road Cityscope include:

  • 755 Burke Road, Camberwell
    A two-storey building with ground floor retail, originally part of the Fulton's Buildings constructed 1935 which was demolished with the facade retained and integrated into the new development completed in mid-2013 with a building area of 370 sqm, which was bought for $5.05 million; and
  • 947 Burke Road, Camberwell
    An older 2-storey building with a ground floor shop and residential space on the upper level with a gross building area of 252 sqm, which was bought for $1.72 million.
