The latest research from Eastern Sydney Cityscope shows property sales values have decreased in the past three months. 

Sales recorded in the quarter to July 2019 totalled $60.7 million, a decrease from both the $90.1 million recorded in the quarter to April 2019 and the $127.8 million recorded in the quarter to January 2019. 

This data brings the 12 month total to $441.3 million, a decrease from the $805 million recorded the same time last year.

Notable sales listed in the July 2019 update of Eastern Sydney Cityscope include: 

  • 179-191 New South Head Road, Edgecliff, a 4-storey and 2-storey building with undercover parking for 66 cars and net lettable area of 3,571 sqm, was bought for $41 million; 
  • 330 New South Head Road, Double Bay, a two-storey building with a building area of 270 sqm on a 183 sqm block, was bought for $3.85 million and
  • 17 Transvaal Avenue, Double Bay, a single-storey house used commercially with a building area of 88 sqm, was bought for $3.25 million.

Properties listed as for sale in the July 2019 update of Eastern Sydney Cityscope include: 

  • 188 Bondi Road, Bondi , a two-storey building with ground level retail space, a residential apartment upstairs and a garage to the rear on a 207 sqm block, available through Cobden & Hayson; 
  • 105 Regent Street, Redfern, a three-storey brick building with ground floor retail and two levels of boarding accommodation, available through JLL North Sydney and 
  • 240 Oxford Street, Bondi Junction, a 2-storey retail building with a shop of 85 sqm at street level and a residence above, 242 Oxford Street, Bondi Junction a 2-storey retail building and 244 Oxford Street, Bondi Junction, a 2-storey retail building, available for sale in one line through CBRE North Sydney and Oxford Agency Darlinghurst.
