This quarterly update of Pyrmont-Ultimo Cityscope shows an increase in total sales value, with a total of 24 sales at a value of $368.4 million, compared to 15 sales at a total value of $219.3 million for the quarter ending April 2019. The 12-month total sales figure stands at $989.9 million for the year ending July 2019, with 92 sales recorded over that period, an increase from the previous 12 months ending July 2018, during which 125 sales were recorded with a total value of $665.9 million.

Notable sales in the areas covered by Pyrmont-Ultimo Cityscope for the July 2019 update include:

  • Workshop development at 21 Harris Street, Pyrmont
    Currently under construction and was at full height in July 2019. To be a 7-storey commercial building with a gym, child care centre, retail tenancies, end-of-trip facilities including bike lockers, infrared sauna and showers and parking for 188 cars on ground level with a net lettable area of 18,888 sqm and typical floor plate of 2,650 sqm, which was bought for $297 million which comprises of the freehold property and fees for development services; 
  • Nora House at 29-33 Balfour Street, Chippendale
    A three-storey warehouse with a loading dock to Balfour Street and 35-43 Balfour Street, Chippendale, a three-storey brick warehouse with a loading dock to Little Queen Street, both currently being extensively refurbished, were bought for $30 million and 
  • The Toxteth Hotel at 345 Glebe Point Road, Glebe
    A two-storey pub in the inter-war Free Classical style, was bought $8.5 million.

    A 146 sqm retail unit, including a courtyard, on the ground level facing the central plaza, for sale through Belle Property Commercial.

  • U60 at 60 Union Street, Pyrmont
    A mixed commercial and retail complex completed in November 2006, comprising a ten-level building on the northern end of the site and a four-level building on the southern side of the site.
