The latest research from South Sydney Cityscope shows property sales for the quarter to March 2019 have decreased in terms of total value.

Sales recorded in the most recent quarter totalled $164.1 million from 30 sales, as compared to the $183.3 million from 20 sales in the quarter to December 2018 and from the $912.9 million from 43 sales recorded in the quarter to September 2018.

This quarter brings the twelve-month total value of sales to $1.538 billion from 137 sales, an increase from the $1.248 billion from 162 sales recorded for the previous year.

Notable sales in the March 2019 update of South Sydney Cityscope include:

  • 132 Wentworth Avenue, Pagewood
    Comprising two large high clearance warehouses, a 2-storey office building and other smaller industrial buildings on a 18,250 sqm site, which sold for $36 million;
  • 29-33 Bourke Road, Alexandria
    A high-clearance brick warehouse complex with ground floor and first floor office areas and parking for 18 cars on a 5,033 sqm site, which sold for $31 million in August 2018 and subsequently sold again for $34 million in January 2019; and
  • 40 Ricketty Street, Mascot
    A showroom, office and warehouse building, four storeys to Ricketty Street and three to Ossary Street, completed in early 2010 with a net lettable area of 5,185 sqm, which sold for $15.3 million.Pulse - SSSalesChart.gif

      A two-storey office building and a high-clearance warehouse of 1,386 sqm; and at 32 Ricketty Street, a single-storey warehouse with a parking area and container storage yard of 1,019 sqm, for sale through Colliers International Sydney South;
    • 45-47 Green Street, Alexandria
      A two-storey office building with some warehouse space, and a high warehouse building, with a building area of 4,266 sqm plus about 40 car spaces on a paved front yard, for sale through Colliers International Sydney South; and
    • 24-26 Ewan Street, Mascot
