The latest research from Sydney Units Cityscope shows that apartment sales in Sydney’s CBD have decreased both in number and total sales value in the last quarter.
For the three months to July 2018, there were 87 sales at a total value of $106.7 million, compared to 418 sales at a total value of $550.8 million for the previous quarter. The yearly figures have increased in total sales value and number, with 1,006 sales at a total value of $1.256 billion for the twelve months to July 2018, compared to 602 sales at a total value of $765 million for the previous year.

Notable sales in the July 2018 update of Sydney Units Cityscope include:
- Unit 14 at Macquarie Apartments, 155-161 Macquarie Street, Sydney, a 214 sqm three-bedroom apartment including balcony on level 7 and a 27 sqm car space on basement level 1, which was sold for $4.7 million;
- Unit 3201 at Quay West, 96-100 Gloucester Street, Sydney, a 145 sqm three-bedroom apartment including balcony on level 32 plus 2 car space on level A, which were sold for $3.65 million; and
- Unit 2108 at Observatory Tower, 168 Kent Street, Sydney, a 134 sqm two-bedroom plus study apartment including balcony on level 21, which was sold for $2.9 million.
