The latest research from Sydney Units Cityscope shows that apartment sales in Sydney’s CBD have increased both in number and total sales value in the last quarter. For the three months to October 2018, there were 110 sales at a total value of $136.9 million, compared to 87 sales at a total value of $106.7 million for the previous quarter. The yearly figures have decreased in total sales value and number, with 733 sales at a total value of $957 million for the twelve months to October 2018, compared to 846 sales at a total value of $1.003 billion for the previous year.

Notable sales in the October 2018 update of Sydney Units Cityscope include: 

  • Unit 1405 at Pullman Quay Grand, 61-69 Macquarie Street, Sydney, a 214 sqm three bedroom apartment with balcony on the eastern side of level 14 plus a 30 sqm car space and a 4 sqm storage lot on basement level 3, which sold for $5.25 million; 
  • Unit 10 at Macquarie Apartments, 155-161 Macquarie Street, Sydney, a 214 sqm three bedroom apartment, including balcony, on level 5 plus a 27 sqm car space on basement level 1, which sold for $4.45 million through Sydney Sotheby's International Realty - CBD & Pyrmont and
  • Unit 8 at Macquarie Apartments, 155-161 Macquarie Street, Sydney, a 214 sqm three bedroom apartment, including balcony, on level 4 plus a 32 sqm car space on basement level 1, which sold for $4.3 million through Morton – Sydney.
