Machine learning transforms property valuations

We're leveraging our unique platforms, data & analytics to ensure we find innovative ways to maintain home lending operations and ensure the health of the market into the future.  Our commitment is that we will continue to work closely with our customers and provide solutions that allow smart decisions to navigate these challenging times.

Machine learning allows us to lift the hood on automated property value estimates, which have traditionally been a black box. In allowing us to see what is impacting an estimated property value in far greater detail, we have greater confidence in the valuation.

How does CoreLogic use machine learning?

Machine learning enables us to make sense of vast amounts of data in a very short space of time to produce more accurate Automated Valuation Models or AVMs. That’s why we have integrated machine learning into a new tool called the AVM Explorer, which allows us to understand more about what is driving a property's estimated value.

“We’re leveraging advances in machine learning to provide timely and data-driven property valuations with improved accuracy.”

Senior Quantitative Analyst, CoreLogic

“Clients are using AVMs to understand the current value of their entire home loan portfolio, many properties within which will not have transacted for many years.”

Senior Product Management, CoreLogic
