The latest research from Sydney Units Cityscope shows that apartment sales in Sydney’s CBD have increased in total sales value in the last quarter. The last three months to April 2021 recorded 104 sales for a total of $183 million, an increase from the 115 sales for a total of $163.8 million recorded in the quarter to January 2021 and from the 99 sales for a total of $146.2 million recorded in the quarter to October 2020.
The 12 months leading up to April 2021 recorded 446 sales for a total of $694 million, a decrease from the 1,653 sales for a total of $2.394 billion, for the same time period the year before.

- The Radisson Hotel and Suites Sydney at 72 Liverpool Street, Sydney, part of SU27.14B, comprising the freehold of units 201-202, 205-206, 208-212, 216-218, 301-303, 307-308, 310-313, 316-317, 501-503, 505-508, 511-513, 516-517, 601-605, 609-612, 616-705, 710-805, 807-813, 816-819, the leasehold of 24 residential units, commercial units 247 and 489 (covered in Sydney Cityscope), SU27.14B.302CS (9 car space lots) and 6 storage lots, which was bought for a total of $38 million in a deal handled by Colliers International Sydney;
- Unit 1302 in 185 Macquarie Residences at 185 Macquarie Street, Sydney, a three bedroom penthouse of 372 sqm including terrace and a 41 sqm lap pool; on the thirteenth and fourteenth floor, which was bought with car parks lot 73, lot 79 and lot 80 for $8.2 million and
- Unit 23 in Bennelong at 5 Macquarie Street, Sydney, a 186 sqm three bedroom unit with balconies, on second floor, which was bought for $6.08 million.
