The Principal invites tenders for the provision of Ayr Avenue Bridge replacement, Ayr Avenue, Torrens Park. Scope of Work: The contract is for the Ayr Avenue Bridge upgrade, which includes but is not limited to the following: 1) Clearing & removal of trees, topsoil & vegetation; 2) Earthworks; 3) Removal of bridge structure & headwall; 4) Removal of kerbing & drainage structures; 5) Removal modification of chain mesh fence; 6) Gridding of linemarking; 7) Installation of box culverts & precast slab; 8) Construction of headwalls; 9) Construction of bridge barrier; 10) Construction of gabion walls & rock pitching scour protection; 11) Construction of kerbing & pram ramp; 12) Construction of drainage structures; 13) Construction of road pavements & asphalt overlays; 14) Construction of block paving (block paving units to be provided by Council); 15) Linemarking & pavement bar installation; 16) Relocation &/or adjustment of services, including pits, covers to match new alignment or profile; 17) Driveway modifications; 18) Construction of brush fencing; 19) Modification of property access gates; 20) Reinstatement of private property & disturbed areas; 21) Topsoiling of nature strips, verges & disturbed areas; 22) Cleaning up & removal of rubbish from the site.
