About This Project


Proposed construction of a 130 km multi-use trail, linking Little Desert National Park to Lake Albacutya via a walking / bicycle trail. Development of a boardwalk/wetland experience associated with the wetlands adjacent to the museum at Jeparit & redevelopment of the old Jeparit railway bridge, along with the establishment of a pedestrian bridge upstream of Dimboola to complete the town walking loops. The construction of the trail has been estimated at $952,500 plus the Jeparit wetlands boardwalk, rail bridge adaptation and Dimboola pedestrian bridge at $2,574,000, giving a total of $3,526,500 for establishing the proposed Hindmarsh Trail.
