About This Project


Construction of a utility scale solar plant with approx 450,000 crystalline solar photovoltaic modules mounted in rows on horzontal tracking or fixed tile systems. Facility will generate up to 148MW of electricity for the Townsville region & will be connected directly to the existing network via a short underground link to the Upper Ross substation to include a 30 year operational lifespan. Car parking for 8 vehicles. Civil works to include clearing of disused mango plantation, grading, compaction, stormwater drainage & sediment control & dust suppression. Associated landscaping.
