About This Project
Refurbishments to the Sarina Railway Station building & adapt the re-use of the building as the new Mackay Region Visitors Information Centre. Scope of work includes: partial demolition of timber outbuildings and items within the existing prefabricated concrete building, to provide a 'clean' shell for its adaptive re-use & repair & fit-out works. All works, including the forming of new openings, reinstatement of windows and doors to match existing, provision of services & interior works, shall take into account the heritage value of the Railway Station building.
