About This Project

Wall Street Sewer Upgrade. General scope of works includes the following, Upsizing of approximately 240 m of DN150 reinforced concrete sewers with DN225 HDPE sewer. The re-construction of approximately 7 property branch connections on the pipe burst sewers. The re-construction of 5 sewer manholes with associated sewer entries along the alignment. The general scope of works also includes the following Participation in site inspections with the Principal as required in the investigation/design phase to help work through customer/construction issues & visually record the existing pre construction conditions of the site of the Works. Conducting CCTV inspection of sewers to be upgraded to confirm the number of property connections. Pipebursting works. Liaison with authorities & other organisations having jurisdiction in connection with carrying out the Works. Notification to property owners 2 clear business days in advance of any works within or directly affecting their property or business. Obtaining written permission for access to properties where applicable. Submission to the Principal of applicable quality documentation, such as site hazard assessments etc. Delivery of pre-construction customer information letters. Preparing & working to a Traffic Management Plan around the construction area. Obtaining Road Opening Permits from Council (inclusive of all fees payable). Replacement &/or raising & replacement of maintenance hole covers, as directed. By-pass pumping/flow control of sewers & property connections during the Works in accordance with the Project Specification;. Acceptance testing of sewers in accordance with requirements of the Project Specification. Providing one set of post construction CCTV DVD's & reports for all pipeburst sewers. Cleaning up of the site on completion of the Works. Site restoration of areas affected by the Works including road pavements, grassed areas etc. consistent with the conditions prior to the Works & to the satisfaction of the Superintendent, responsible authority & or the landowner, including all statutory charges & fees. Obtaining a written release from residents where access to private property was required & from Corangamite Shire Council for works completed on their assets. The Principal reserves the right to carry out restoration of private property, at the Contractor's cost, if the restoration works undertaken do not meet the required standard. Participation in 'Final Inspections' &/or attending to outstanding items or defects.
