About This Project


The Department of environment, Water & Natural Resources (DEWNR) as part of the Commonwealth Governments Coorong, Lower Lakes & Murray Mouth (CLLMM) Recovery Project has partnered with Alexandrina Council to deliver a range of ecological & infrastructure enhancements in & around the Milang snipe sanctuary. Infrastructure includes footpaths & raised walkways, seating areas with shelter & screening, viewing nodes, a shelter, as well as incorporating interpretive architectural elements. A new bird hide will also be built and interpretive signage erected around the site.
