About This Project

Upgrade of approach guardrails. Scope of work includes: remove existing ski-jump approach rails at Wildman River West Channel Culvert, West alligator River Bridge & Flying Fox Creek Bridge along Arnhem Highway. Saw-cut & remove existing concrete margins, kerbs & batter protection to make allowances for the shoulder to be widened to accommodate the new guardrails. Supply & install new approach guardrails, approximately 25m at either side of each approaches, both inbound & outbound to the crossings. Reshape batters, widen shoulders & reinstate concrete margins & batter protection to allow for the new guardrails & match the existing.
