The preliminary commercial auction results for the week ending the 1st of September yielded 28 commercial properties across Australia gone to auction. Of these, 23 commercial properties sold, suggesting a preliminary clearance rate of 82.1%. This is much stronger than last week’s preliminary results of just 10 auction events and 5 cleared sales.

The preliminary results indicated auctions took place in New South Wales (8 auctions), Victoria (17 auctions), Queensland (two auctions) and South Australia (one auction). The highest preliminary clearance rate was in Victoria, where all 17 properties sold.

Once again, the most ubiquitous type of sale at auction was in the industrial space. Across the country, 9 industrial properties sold at auction, followed by 6 retail, 4 office spaces and 4 miscellaneous.
