The latest research from Chapel Street Cityscope shows that commercial property sales value have increased in the past three months.

Sales recorded in the quarter to May 2019 totalled $4.1 million from 2 sales, an increase from the $3.1 million from 2 sales in the three months to February 2019 and a large decrease compared with the $34.1 million from 9 sales in the three months to November 2018.

This data brings the 12 month total to $113.1 million from 29 sales, an increase from the previous twelve month total of $69.8 million from 32 sales.

Notable sales recorded in the May 2019 update of Chapel Street Cityscope include:

  • 473 Chapel Street, South Yarra
    A two-storey brick retail building to Chapel Street, with a single-storey section to the rear of the property and parking for one car on paved land, which was bought for $3.2 million and
  • Suite 13, South Yarra Corporate Centre at 209 Chapel Street, South Yarra
    An office suite of 102 sqm on level two with four car spaces, which sold for $918,500.
