The latest research from Eastern Sydney Cityscope shows property sales values have increased in the past three months. 
Sales recorded in the quarter to October 2019 totalled $174.3 million, an increase from the $60.7 million recorded in the quarter to July 2019 and from the $90.1 million recorded in the quarter to April 2019. 

This data brings the 12 month total to $452.9 million, a decrease from the $836.8 million recorded the same time last year.

Notable sales listed in the October 2019 update of Eastern Sydney Cityscope include:

  • Bay House at 2 Guilfoyle Avenue, Double Bay 
    A four-storey office building with a net lettable area of 985 sqm and Angela House at 30-36 Bay Street, Double Bay, a four-storey office building with ground floor shops and parking for 12 cars, were bought together as a development site for $48 million; 
  • Eveleigh House including unit 1, unit 2, unit 3 and unit 4 at 1-9 Buckingham Street, Surry Hills
    A strata titled four-storey brick commercial building plus basement parking for 12 vehicles, was bought for over $35.39 million; and 
  • 31-37 Knox Street, Double Bay
    A two-storey building with ground floor retail space and first floor commercial space on a 326 sqm block, was bought for $12.5 million.

  • 406 Oxford Street, Paddington
    A two-storey brick and tile building with ground level retail space, office space on the first floor and parking for two cars to Victoria Street, available through LJ Hooker Commercial Sydney City Fringe; 
  • 101 Bondi Road, Bondi
    A 2-storey brick building comprising ground level retail space, a residential apartment upstairs and parking to the rear, available with an asking price of $7 million through Pillinger Double Bay and
  • Briad House at 491-493 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills
    A five-storey brick commercial building with a net lettable area of 1,100 sqm and parking for 5 vehicles, available through Ray White Commercial South Sydney.
