Sales recorded for Melbourne Units Cityscope for the three months to May 2018 totalled $667.8 million, an increase from the $319.5 million recorded for the quarter to February 2018 and the $573.1 million recorded for the quarter to November 2017.
The increase is accounted for by the inclusion of the off –the-plan sales of the Spencer Melbourne Building at 420 Spencer Street, West Melbourne and the Australis Building at 601 Little Lonsdale Street, Melbourne in this update.
The latest data brings the twelve-month sales total to $1.966 billion, an increase from the previous twelve months, which recorded sales of $904.6 million.
The table below shows sales recorded for the past eight updates of Melbourne Units Cityscope.
Some notable sales featured in the May 2018 update of Melbourne Units Cityscope include:
- Unit 301, known as 301A, in Republic Tower at 299 Queen Street, Melbourne, a 154 sqm residential apartment occupying the whole of the thirtieth floor with a terrace around the perimeter and four car spaces, which was sold for $5 million;
- Unit 2201 in the Philadelphia Apartments at 31 Spring Street, Melbourne, a 3 bedroom penthouse apartment on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th storeys with 2 car spaces, which was sold for $2.85 million and
- Unit 101 in Spencer Melbourne at 420 Spencer Street, Melbourne, a residential unit to the north western corner on level 1 including two car park spaces and a storage space on basement level 4, which was sold off the plan for $2.6 million.
