The latest research from Parramatta Cityscope shows sales have increased substantially in terms of both sales value and volume. In the quarter ending September 2019, there were 27 sales at a total value of $175.6 million, compared to the $46 million from 12 sales recorded for the previous quarter. 

The 12-monthly sales value has decreased, with 72 sales at a total value of $520 million for the year to September 2019, compared to the 71 sales at a total value of $824.3 million for the previous year.

Notable sales in the September 2019 update of Parramatta Cityscope include:

  • 80 George Street, Parramatta
    Two office buildings of 6 and 11 storeys with an entrance to the side for basement parking for 103 cars. Reconstruction of the upper floors began in May 1991 and some minor work was completed early 1993 and foyer was upgraded in 2016. The building has  a net lettable area 8,093 sqm on a 1,731 sqm block, which was sold for $80 million; 
  • Macquarie Towers development at 189 Macquarie Street, Parramatta
    Comprise two 24-storey residential towers on a 6-storey podium and 3 levels of basement car parking. It will contain 425 apartments, 317 sqm retail space and 715 public car parking spaces over seven levels, to be known as Hassall Street Car Park and 389 car parking spaces for residential use over three levels of basement car parking. The 6-level podium and public parking was completed late 2017 and the construction of residential towers above the podium was stalled. The whole site of 5,211 sqm was sold for $41 million;
  • 54-58 Church Street, Parramatta
    A car yard, with a single storey high clearance showroom on a 2,255 sqm site and 14 Marion Street, Parramatta, a single and 2-storey workshop building on a 689 sqm site, were sold together for $13.5 million; and
  • 46 George Street, Parramatta
    A single-storey building with net lettable area of 600 sqm on a 1,004 sqm site, was sold for $13 million.

  • 302 Church Street, Parramatta
    A two-storey building with several shops at street level and a building area of approximately 1,001 sqm, which is available for sale through Ray White Commercial NSW Western Sydney; 
  • 109 Wigram Street
    A 2-storey brick office building completed in 1982 and refurbished in 2017, with a net lettable area of 630 sqm, which is available for sale through Khoury & Partners Parramatta; and
  • Unit 47, known as Shop 1 at 1-9 Palmer Street, Parramatta
    A 95 sqm retail premises plus car space of 29 sqm on the ground floor, available through LJ Hooker Commercial Parramatta.

  • Signature Tower at 2 Wentworth Street, Parramatta
    A 13-storey office building with undercover parking over three levels for 118 cars, which has office space ranging from 1,000 to 9,252 sqm available through CBRE Western Sydney; 
  • 16-18 Wentworth Street, Parramatta
    An 8-storey commercial building with parking for 74 cars on three basement levels, which has office space ranging from 200 to 3,500 sqm available through JLL Parramatta and CBRE Western Sydney; and 
  • 87 Marsden Street, Parramatta
    A 10-storey office building including two basement parking levels for 79 cars, which has office space ranging from 948 to 2,992 sqm available through CBRE Western Sydney.
