This quarterly update of Pyrmont-Ultimo Cityscope shows a decrease in total sales value, with 27 sales at a total value of $205.6 million, compared to the 24 sales at a total value of $367.5 million for the quarter ending July 2019. 

The 12-month total sales figure stands at $1.067 billion for the year ending October 2019, with 96 sales recorded over that period, a significant increase in terms of sales value from the previous 12 months ending October 2018, during which 114 sales were recorded with a total value of $449 million.

Notable sales in the areas covered by Pyrmont-Ultimo Cityscope for the October 2019 update include:

  • Central Park Mall at 28 Broadway, Chippendale
    A five-level retail mall with a plaza at the lower ground level, retail space on the ground level of the Park Lane Tower and a 13-screen Palace Cinemas complex on level 3 of the mall, completed in 2013; the retail component in DUO at 1 Chippendale Way, Chippendale, retail space on the ground level within the 16-storey residential tower, and stratum lot 205 in the building at 62-98 Broadway, Chippendale, were sold together for $174.5 million in a deal handled by Colliers International; 
  • Stratum lot 23 known as 3 Harris Street, Pyrmont
    Comprising 796 sqm retail space on the ground level within The Elizabeth, a 15-storey New York-style apartment building, was bought for $5.675 million through Ray White Commercial Lower North Shore and 
  • Lot 6 at Wonderland, 85 O’Connor Street, Chippendale
    A total area of 1,337 sqm commercial space comprising 30 sqm on ground level and 1,307 sqm on level one plus four car parking spaces on basement level one, within the part 9-storey and part 13-storey mixed-use building, completed late 2018, which was bought for approximately $3,942 million.

    A two-storey sandstone block terrace, built around 1858 by John Moyce as a grocery shop, on a site of 108 sqm, which is for sale through Pyrmont City First National;
  • 35 Glebe Point Road, Glebe
    A two-storey commercial terrace with a balcony overhanging the footpath to Glebe Point Road, on a site of 82 sqm, which is for sale through Ray White Commercial NSW and 
  • The whole building including lot 1, lot 2 and lot 3 of the former Bristol Arms Hotel at 424-426 Harris Street, Ultimo
    A three-storey brick hotel building plus basement, with a total area of approximately 597 sqm, completed in 1922, which is for sale through Karbon Property.

  • Network 10 Headquarters and City West Office Park at 1-35 Sanders Street, Ultimo
    A group of three buildings of 3 to 7 storeys, set around a central landscaped area, completed in 1997, which has office space up to 1,466 sqm available through Cadigal Sydney;

    To be a 7-storey commercial building with a gym, child care centre, retail tenancies, end-of-trip facilities and parking for 188 cars on ground level, which has brand new office space up to 4,236 sqm available for pre-lease through Karbon Property – Sydney and

    A three to four-storey office building with parking on the lower and upper ground levels, built in 1915, which has office space ranging from 450 to 1,607 sqm available through Karbon Property – Sydney, Knight Frank – Sydney South and Knight Frank Sydney.
