The latest research from South Sydney Cityscope shows property sales for the quarter to September 2019 have decreased slightly in terms of total value.

Sales recorded in the most recent quarter totalled $337.1 million from 73 sales, as compared to the $341.9 million from 55 sales in the quarter to June 2019 and from the $164.1 million from 30 sales recorded in the quarter to March 2019.

This quarter brings the twelve-month total value of sales to $1.026 billion from 178 sales, a decrease from the $1.688 billion from 156 sales recorded for the previous year.

Notable sales in the September 2019 update of South Sydney Cityscope include:

  • 3-7 McPherson Street, Banksmeadow
    A modern two-storey office and large warehouse/factory building with paved parking for 150 cars on a large 30,140 sqm block, which sold for $86.5 million; 
  • 22 O’Riordan Street, Alexandria
    A single-storey high-clearance workshop and office with a small rear yard plus a two-storey office section towards O'Riordan Street and a front apron with parking space for 50 vehicles on a 7,395 sqm block, which sold for $60 million and 
  • 23-27 Bourke Road, Alexandria
    A two-storey showroom and office extending to high-clearance warehouse to the rear of the building plus on grade parking for 35 cars on a 6,175 sqm block, which sold for $38.5 million.
