A new soon to be completed Sydney hotel has been put to market by Craig Collins and Andrew Langsford of JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group.
Located at 319-325 Sussex Street, the Vibe Hotel Darling Harbour is scheduled to open in September 2019. It was developed by Icon Oceania and designed by WMK Architecture.
The hotel is to be a 16-storey, 4.5 star hotel comprising 145 rooms, gym, a rooftop bar, a swimming pool and signature restaurant, The Sussex Store. Location wise the hotel is a winner. Sandwiched between the light rail and Town Hall Station, it is also close to the entertainment quarters of Darling Harbour, Chinatown and the cinema precinct on George Street. Vibe Hotel Darling Harbour will be operated by TFE Hotels, an exceptionally experienced hotelier with 73 hotels (10,374 keys) in Australia, New Zealand and Europe under five brands.
The hotel is expected to realise $100 million plus. Icon Oceania purchased the site in two parcels for a total of $21.35 million in 2016.
