The latest research from Chatswood Cityscope shows that commercial property sales in the areas covered by it have decreased in total value from the preceding quarter. For the quarter to September 2020 there were 6 sales at a total sales value of $22.3 million, compared to the 11 sales at a total sales value of $28.4 million for the previous quarter. The yearly figures have also decreased significantly, with 55 sales at a total value of $534.7 million for the twelve months to September 2020, compared to the 76 sales at a total value of more than $958.8 million for the previous year.

Notable sales in the September 2020 update of Chatswood Cityscope include:

  • 300 Victoria Avenue, Chatswood, a single-storey building with customer parking to the rear; refurbished mid-2017, which was bought for $14.5 million and 
  • 41 Whiting Street, Artarmon, a freestanding two-storey warehouse building. Total building area 745 sqm, comprising 344 sqm on the ground floor and 401 sqm on the first floor and includes on-site car parking for seven vehicles, which was bought for $3.675 million.
