For the week ending 26 August, there were 24 commercial auctions, which was lower over the week (51) and lower than the 59 auctions held at the same time last year. Preliminary results indicate a clearance rate of 62.5 per cent which, much like auction activity, is lower than both the previous week (64.7 per cent) and one year ago (67.8 per cent). There have been 194 commercial auction results reported over the past four weeks, with 123 sales. Based on the 93 results reported with a sale price, the total value of transactions is just lower than $165.22 million.
