The latest research from Eastern Sydney Cityscope shows property sales values have decreased in the past three months.

Sales recorded in the quarter to January 2019 totalled $127.8 million, a decrease from the $162.7 million recorded in the quarter to October 2018 and a decrease from the $137.3 million recorded in the quarter to July 2018.

This data brings the 12 month total to $696.3 million, an increase from the $671 million recorded the same time last year.

Notable sales listed in the January 2019 update of Eastern Sydney Cityscope include:

  • Little Albion Guest House , 88 Albion Street, Surry Hills
    A 35-room hotel converted from a heritage 3-storey brick building, which was built in 1910 on a site area of 538 sqm, was bought for $25.75 million through CBRE Hotels; 
  • 45 Hall Street, Bondi Beach
    A 2-storey brick block of four units on a site area of 596 sqm and 43 Hall Street, Bondi Beach, a single storey brick shop to Hall Street built onto the front of a 2-storey sandstone former house on a site area of 581 sqm, were bought together for $20.6 million and 
  • San Remo, 151-157 Bondi Road, Bondi
    A 2-storey interwar free classical-style brick building with two shops at street level, residential units upstairs and garages to the rear with a building area of 990 sqm and a site area of 771 sqm, was bought for $12 million through CBRE (Sydney).
