Sales recorded for Melbourne Units Cityscope for the three months to August 2020 totalled $133 million, a decrease from the $145.7 million recorded for the quarter to May 2020 and from the $421.5 million recorded for the quarter to February 2020. 

The latest data brings the twelve-month sales total to $1.093 billion, a decrease from the previous twelve months, which recorded sales of $2.311 billion.

  • Some notable sales featured in the August 2020 update of Melbourne Units Cityscope include:
  • Unit 909 in Westin Melbourne on Regent Place at 199-205 Collins Street, Melbourne, a 7-storey 262-room hotel topped by 37 apartments including five penthouses, completed later in 2000. Unit 909 is a 176 sqm 2-bedroom apartment on level 9 with a 24 sqm balcony plus a car space, which was bought for $3.701 million; 
  • Unit 2603 at 35 Spring Street, Melbourne, a 43-level residential tower with 270 apartments with a retail tenancy on ground level and car parking on 7 basement levels, completed in mid-2017. Unit 2603 is a 3-bedroom apartment with two balconies both facing north east on level 26 including a car parking area on basement level 3 and storage areas on basement level 1 and level 9, which was bought for $3.575 million ; and
  • Unit 907 at The Westin Melbourne on Regent Place, a  201 sqm 2-bedroom apartment with a 24 sqm balcony plus a car space, which was bought for $3.25 million.
