The latest research from North Sydney Cityscope shows sales have decreased in total sales value in the quarter to January 2019.

Sales recorded in the most recent quarter totalled $263.1 million from 49 sales, a decrease in total value compared to the $466.3 million from 33 sales in the quarter to October 2018 and from the $403.4 million from 46 sales in the quarter to July 2018.

This quarter brings the twelve-month total value of sales to $1.635 billion, a large decrease from the $2.672 billion recorded for the previous year.

Notable sales for the January 2019 update of North Sydney Cityscope include:

  • Ogilvy House at 72 Christie, St Leonards
    An A-grade eight-storey stepped office building with basement parking for 222 cars on 2,815 sqm block, was bought as a development site for approximately $155 million;
  • 60 Pacific Highway, St Leonards
    A three-storey office building with basement parking for 60 cars with a net lettable office area of 3,020 sqm, was bought for $21.3 million; and
  • Roth House at 118-124 Willoughby Road, Crows Nest
    A 3-storey building with basement parking for 23 cars, building was extensively refurbished and converted into a mixed-use development with ground floor retail and 13 residential apartments in 2011, was bought for $14 million.

    An 11-storey office building, comprising 28 strata units with basement parking and a net lettable area of 4,402 sqm, of which 64.3% of the building lots are for sale through Colliers International; 
  • 41 Military Road, Neutral Bay
