Preliminary results for the week ending 12 August show that 41.2 per cent of the 17 reported commercial auctions were successful. Over the previous week, both the clearance rate (65.8 per cent) and the number of auctions held (76) were higher, while over the corresponding week one year ago, 55 auctions were reported with 67.3 per cent successful. A total of 184 commercial auction results have been reported over the past four weeks, with 113 of these having sold. Of the sold results, 87 have been reported with a sale price, totalling just below $127.3 million.
