The latest research from Sydney Units Cityscope shows that apartment sales in Sydney’s CBD have increased both in number and total sales value in the last quarter. Sales recorded for three months to July 2019, were 831 sales at a total value of more than $1.305 billion, an increase from the 203 sales at a total value of $233.2 million recorded for the quarter to April 2019, largely due to the inclusion of the off-the-plan sales of four buildings:

  • One30 Hyde Park at 130 Elizabeth Street,
  • NE1 at Darling Square, 83 Harbour Street,
  • NE2 at Darling Square, 10 Nicolle Walk and
  • NE3 at Darling Square, 81 Harbour Street.  
     

The yearly figures have increased in total sales value and number, with 1,454 sales at a total value of $2.081 billion for the twelve months to July 2019, compared to 1,017 sales at a total value of $1.283 billion for the previous year.

Notable sales in the July 2019 update of Sydney Units Cityscope include: 

  • Lot 363, known as Unit 4002 at NE3, 81 Harbour Street, Haymarket, a 486 sqm penthouse with two north facing balconies, four east facing balconies and a south facing balcony on level forty plus a 43 sqm car parking area and a 2 sqm storage area, both on level one, which sold off the plan for $11.44 million; 
  • Lot 362, known as Unit 4001 at NE3, 81 Harbour Street, Haymarket, a 424 sqm penthouse with two north facing balconies and a west facing balcony on level forty plus a 55 sqm car parking area and storage area, both on level one, which sold for $10.5 million;
  • Lot 139, known as unit 3701 at One30 Hyde Park at 130 Elizabeth Street, a 167 sqm 2-storey penthouse apartment including a north facing terrace and planter on level thirty-seven and 111 sqm on level thirty-eight plus a 27 sqm car space and 3 sqm storage area, both on basement level 2, which sold off the plan for $9.72 million and
  • Lot 140, known as unit 3702 at One30 Hyde Park at 130 Elizabeth Street, a 203 sqm 2-storey penthouse apartment including a west and north facing terrace on level thirty-seven and 116 sqm on level thirty-eight plus a 27 sqm car space on basement level 1 and 3 sqm storage area on basement level 2, which sold off the plan for $9.05 million.
